The doctor dreams of a female athlete

A bright, hopeful lass arrived in this small town back in 1984 with big dreams to become a champion runner and Olympic medalist. In just the span of four years, her amazing greenish brown eyes have already seen a lot. In 1988, she finished sixth in the 3,000 meter run in the Olympics in Seoul, Korea. Just last December, this world class runner finally finished high school. Since she was already considered the next queen of American middle distance running at a young age of 23, she easily bagged a three year contract to endorse a famous company that manufactures shoes. She uses her regular workouts to see the environs of her school. This stunning runner at 5 foot 6 and 110 pounds flies towards her own finish line and it seems like her feet don't even touch the ground she flies on. Whenever people would chase her for her autograph, she realizes that she is not so much into the idea of fame. She gets troubled when people give her special treatment being the self effacing young lady that she is who believes that she is just a normal person. She may be normal, but she's far from average. She is her town's first female Olympian. She's an important part of seven world record relay groups as well as a proud holder of four prestigious American collegiate awards. She was the one who led the way for their athletic team in school to seize 8 individual NCAA championship titles along with 14 championship wins in the Big East competition. She has also scooped up numerous major awards. With her mentor in running, she is carefully planning out her career as a runner now that collegiate competition is behind her. With this big change in her life, she knows that she has to make some mental adjustments. Unless people have already experienced it, it would be hard for them to understand. It is her own self that places most of the pressure she feels to become a successful runner. She has overwhelming qualms about encountering injuries as while she is still affiliated to the famous shoe manufacturer as their endorser. Thanks to people's great expectations of her, she's become more uneasy than she was in the past collegiate games she competed in. As a person looking for Recruitment medical you should visit that site. Many people wonder how the local women's track team can manage without her. Of course they'll still make it, they're a wonderful team, she assures them. The notoriety, responsibility and ton of pressure push her to value her privacy. Even her brother, sister and parents had to adjust to the fact that people know them too so they have to accept some adjustments. Thanks to her parents being laid back, they were more of encouraging rather than pushy. She gets to hang out with a great company thanks to her stardom. She is close to a group of athletes known to be the cream of the crop and whom we all idolize and follow on the TV screen. She does sound out names but not out of conceit but out of genuine affection toward these people whom she has common ties with. For example, after returning this past June from Hawaii, where she was on a tour with a runner, she recalled that she really hadn't seen him since the Olympics. She simply reveled in his company during those 3 days where they talked about old times and enjoyed their stay. Her list of things to do has not gotten any shorter even if she shares that she's got so much time on her hands. More than just practicing daily to become better as a runner, she is also a public figure and this calls for her to make sure that she is on top of her busy schedule which involves gracing various banquets, track meets, interviews or photo sessions. She also said that she will offer some of her time and talent by volunteering as a coach assistant at the local school. In honor of her desire to be a medical doctor who is presently placed in the back burner, she aims to volunteer in an area hospital. Being a volunteer will surely make her build the right choice on whether or not to pursue a medical career when her time as a professional runner is up. Has she thought about what awaits her? She avers that while she hopes to have a good husband and children, they will have to wait after her running career has flourished. She says that she will achieve her goals and wants first before these other things in life.
